Bell Aerospace Services Inc. (BellAero) began operations in September 2001 as the principal supplier of Field Services, Supply Support, and Support Equipment for a variety of Bell Helicopter military platforms to include legacy H-1, OH-58, H-1Y/Z and V-22 aircraft.

 

In 2005, BellAero acquired US Helicopter in Ozark, AL. US Helicopter brought an established and world class reputation for excellence in the areas of airframe and component depot level overhaul to the BellAero family. Since then, US Helicopter continues to significantly expand their operations in support of the US Department of Defense, Department of State and commercial overhaul programs. Additionally, US Helicopter is the premier manufacturer of Huey II and TH-1H aircraft.

 

Today, BellAero consists of two separate Business Units:

BA Support Services provides Field Services, Logistics/Supply Support, and Support Equipment Support worldwide for both military and commercial helicopters. They also provide teams for modification/upgrades and retrofit on a variety of domestic and international platforms.

 

US Helicopter provides a full range of depot level support services at their facility in Ozark, AL to accommodate both US and international customers. Additionally, US Helicopter is also executing plans to nearly triple the size of their current operations in coordination with the city of Ozark, AL.
